June 2026 Interview with Bronwyn Smith
We asked: What’s new since last summer?
Bronwyn answered:
This season has been a whirlwind. I've played quite the range of characters and I'm excited to continue exploring that range in my second Collide series.
We asked: What’s your favorite COLLIDE memory?
Bronwyn answered:
I LOVED doing Rite of Spring, experiencing Leah’s retirement by her side, and coining the step "Maz-Orca" last year.
We asked: What’s your perfect Sunday in Grand Rapids?
Bronwyn answered:
My perfect GR Sunday would be grabbing coffee from Squibb or matcha from Lyon St, going to the Fulton St Farmers Market (if it was open on Sunday), thrifting at Otono and other local spots, then hanging with friends in one of the gorgeous local parks...maybe hitting up Hard Times in the evening.
We asked: You’re cast on Survivor Double Duo. Which COLLIDE dancer do you wish was there with you?
Bronwyn answered:
Hmmmm maybe Celeste because she'd make me laugh and is a great team player.
We asked: You’re warming up for a COLLIDE double show day. What’s on your playlist?
Bronwyn answered:
Right now, a good amount of Noah Kahan, Michael Jackson, and Zara Larson. What a lineup.
